The Changing Nature of Journalism.

Journalism has been around for 600 years and it is going nowhere any time soon. The current issue that journalist face today is according to them it won’t be around forever but it is an ever-growing industry, that being said as we develop and evolve so does our technology around us which their assumption may be that the traditional way of journalism is dying.

Although with technology developing this allows new generations to explore and have access to news at their fingertips, breaking the rules of a traditional newspaper format of news but evolving into the new age of multimedia news and not necessarily following a set format to follow and repeat but to be more carefree and modern with the message that is being conveyed to the audience that majority of time will be younger generations, becoming one of the normalities as ‘news’ to them.

The new modern journalist has less boundaries to abide by in contrast to your typical idea of a stereotyped journalist, saying that there’s no particular success criteria anymore or a particular set qualification to get into the field, as well with restrictions seen much more in platforms of multimedia journalism instating the journalist’s opinions and having more involvement in the social media realm.
